One of our values here at Cedar Street Church is being a friendly, welcoming church by loving people to Jesus and by loving people like Jesus.

We want you to know you are welcome and loved from the moment you come through the front door!

Before you enter the sanctuary, feel free to stop by the welcome table, located in the foyer, for any information you may need in regards to our church!

As for the dress code - some dress up, some come casual!

We simply want you to come expecting to feel welcomed, and enjoy your time of worship!

Our morning worship service begins at 10:30am and usually goes to noon.

We believe in the preaching of the Word of God. The Gospel is the power of God and salvation is the free gift to all who believe!

Sometimes preaching is textual (from a specific passage of Scripture) and other times preaching is topical, with a main focus to apply.

Through the preaching of the Word, we desire to see God do the following:

1.) Call sinners to repentance (We all fall short of the glory of God, and are in need of a Savior).

2.) Call believers to mature into fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ.

Bible translations used during preaching include the NKJV, ESV, KJV, NASB, CSB, and NIV.

We all have our preferances of translations, but we ask that you simply choose a translation that you can read and apply as you grow deeper in your walk with God.

We believe that God's house should be a place of prayer!

While we understand that most individuals desire and will want to pray in their seat, we also believe the altar represents a special place where you can meet God in prayer.

Our people are encouraged to come pray at the altar during our time of prayer in the service or in response to the preaching at the end of the service.

While we believe prayer at the altar is a personal thing between you and God, we also believe as the family of God, that it's appropriate for believers to pray with you and support you.

One of our elders or pastors are willing to pray with you, if there is anything you need assistance with during prayer times.

We believe church music is about praising and worshiping God!

The focus should be on Jesus and about Him - not us.

During our worship time, our worship team will lead us by singing modern praise & worship songs, accompanied with a piano or guitar, or we are led in worship by singing hymns with piano and organ.

We all have our preferances of styles of worship, however, our main goal is to sing praises to God, for he is worthy to be praised!

We also have a time of a special song just before the preaching.

We believe that worship is essential to our Sunday services and hope you are able to sense God's presence during our worship time.

We value spiritual development for all ages.

We provide a safely staffed nursery during our Sunday morning worship times, as well as, provide a time of bible lessons for children grades K-5.

Sunday School - 9:30AM:

One of our classes is located in the fellowship hall for anyone to attend.

A second class is located in the sanctuary where an in-depth Bible study is taught by one of our church elders.

Our Nursery and Kids classes are located in the lower level of the sanctuary.

Our Sunday School hour is dedicated to the spiritual development for all ages and we would love to see you and your family get plugged into a class!

Sunday Morning Worship - 10:30AM:

We encourage families to gather in the sanctuary together for the first part of the worship service.

Following the offering, kids grades K-5 are encouraged to dismiss to the lower level of the sanctuary for a special time of Bible teaching with our Kid Zone volunteers.

Our desire is for your children to know and grow in the Word of God each Sunday.

Sunday Evening Worship- 6PM:

We encourage families to come and worship together in the Sunday evening service, which is a more casual service focused on praise and worship and a message from our Pastor.

Sunday Evening Student Life - 6PM:

Students grades 6-12 are invited to attend on Sunday nights in the annex building (brick building) for a night of worship, games, fun and fellowship together.
